- Discretionary program. MDF is offered at Retail Digitals' sole discretion, on terms made proportionally available to competing partners, and the program may be changed or ended at any time. Requests do not accrue and approval of one request creates no entitlement to future funds.
- Eligible activities. Trade shows and events featuring Retail Digitals/ZKong products, demo units for named prospects, digital campaigns, printed collateral, and in-store demonstrations. Ineligible: general overhead, travel, entertainment, and price subsidies.
- Pre-approval required. Submit through the Portal before the activity. Unapproved spending is not reimbursable — the Portal enforces this automatically.
- Branding. Funded activities must feature Retail Digitals products using the materials and brand guidelines in the Marketing Center.
- Proof of performance. Before payout, provide invoices/receipts plus evidence of the activity (photos, screenshots, registration lists) via the Portal or email.
- Claims window. Proof must be submitted within 60 days of the activity date; late claims lapse.
- Reimbursement, not advance. Approved amounts are reimbursed after proof of performance (payout method agreed per request). Payouts may be capped at the approved amount even if actual costs ran higher.
- No carryover. Approved-but-unused funds expire with the activity; denied requests may be resubmitted with changes.
- Compliance. Activities must comply with applicable advertising and anti-corruption laws and the Business Partner Agreement.
